We had a party of 5 for dinner last night and the service was great and 3 of the 5 dinners were really good--hamburger (that looked like it could be in a magazine), crab fluff and the crab legs. However, my friend and I ordered the baked stuffed shrimp and we both thought they were awful. They were quite small and way overdone--almost burnt. In fact, a few of mine were even difficult to cut. My husband and I have been to Woodbine Inn in the past, and loved it. We will return, but not order the stuffed shrimp again. The coleslaw is AWESOME!

We ate lunch at the Inn, Wednesday, March 14. Only four tables busy, but took the waitress ten minutes to just give us a menu. After finally ordering, the meal arrived in about twenty-five minutes. We ordered the rib-eye sandwich with onion rings (full extra charge) and a shrimp salad sandwich. The rib-eye was served on a cheap hamburger roll instead of a steak roll. The lettuce was so wilted I just removed it. There was no mayonnaise that I could detect, although I asked for mayo. Shrimp salad was only OK, but still cost $13.99. We ordered two cups of coffee at $2.50 each. Small cups, no offer of warm-ups or refills. Onion rings were great where they had been separated, but the quarter of the onion that remained en-bloc was mushy and had undercooked dough in the center. The bill was $37.00 ! Waitress never checked on us during the wait time, never offered dessert, never offered more coffee. We felt like outsiders who had dropped in on a very private group restaurant.

The SCHS had a Fundraiser at Woodbine Inn last Thursday and I would like to thank Becky Fogle for allowing us to use her restaurant and for supporting the efforts of the SCHS 50th Anniversary Committee. The food was delicious and seeing so many SCHS Alumni was delightful. Thank you committee and all the alumni who came out in support of the fundraiser.

The Woodbine Inn is at the very top of my list for favorite places to eat! Everything on the menu is delicious and the steamed crabs the best. Not to mention the wonderful servers who make visiting the Inn like going home.

Love your establishment. You always deliver great dishes & your seafood is quite exceptional. My only complaint, & it is a minor one, is the problems one waitress in particular causes me. No matter what I order, no matter how I request it served, she always brings everything at once, for example, if I come by for a steak dinner and want a pound of shrimp & perhaps a salad, I'll ask that she bring the shrimp first, then bring the salad, not being particular if the salad is served with the dinner or not, she will continually bring everything at once. So while Im eating my shrimp, dinner is getting cold, I feel like I need to wolf down the shrimp in order to get to my dinner before that happens. Thats it! I know it may sound petty but I like to savor my shrimp or whatever appetizer Ive ordered before dinner is served just as I like to take my time with dinner as well. Your food is that good to me as well as the ambiance at your restaurant. Certainly, this minor inconvenience has not deterred me from frequenting your establishment, as I continue to eat there on a regular basis.
Keep up the good work! Your crab soup, crabs, crab cakes, etc are out of this world, as is your steaks, burgers & other items, not to mention your great choice of sides. I happen to love Lima beans & I dont know another place around that offers them.
Thanks for letting me bend your ear for a moment.
See y'all soon.

Fried shrimp are consistently delicious. Perfectly cooked and huge.

Crabs are also consistently perfectly steamed and seasoned. Order mussels and dunk your cleaned crab body in the garlic/butter sauce! You wont be disappointed!!!

It is the cook's fault if your food isn't prepared to your satisfaction, NOT the waiter's. Of all the reviews on this site yours is the worst and rudest. It's a local family restaurant and it has many, many regulars. I'm hoping you don't become one of them.

The most amazing fried scallops, cole slaw & French fries! Crab cake was huge and very meaty. Professional attitudes, friendly wait staff, & relaxed environment. We will return. :-)

I would love to order steamed crabs but both phone lines have been busy for 15 min.
